I would like to test less popular game aspects / drop suit outfits, and wondered if it's possible to have my character reset without having to wait for the next build.
Thanks !
PS. Is it possible to implement this feature as part of the UI, so we can reset anytime during the beta ? |

you can switch to anything else you want without a reset. Just start skilling up the stuff you want to test. |

During the beta it would be nice to have a respec so one could test out different builds and find possible bugs without the grinding for SP for new toons. But, I'm against it for the launch. Plan well, plan smart and live by your choices for the real game. |

1. Start training towards other professions. Just like Eve, Dust allows you to train multiple professions. 2. You can always make another character if you have available slots in the opening screen. |

No. Even if it's limited to the beta, it will create a false impression that CCP is catering to the respec-at-launch whiners. |

Always start all 3 characters on day 1. I think I have about a million to spend on the guy who I haven't used. Re skilling is a no. Unless that is another way for CCP to cash in. 5000aur? |

I should've precised GÇö I actually want to regain the AUR I previously invested as part of my reset. If I start a new character, will this AUR be available ? Or do I need to buy more, specifically for that character ? |

You need to buy more. If you paid for... say... 500 AUR on one character and then you create a new one, the newly-created character will get nothing. No extra 500 AUR for that toon. |

AUR would be account-wide, so if it's spent on one character it can't be spent on another. It's returned when there's character wipes or resets during the beta but it's not something that would be returned when a new character's made on an account. |

Is there any word on whether we can reassign our merc pack items to another character after a reset? |

Is there any word on whether we can reassign our merc pack items to another character after a reset? i do believe, that when the next reset happens, either for beta or game launch, since the GM stated it is account wide, that whatever new character(s) you create after a reset happens it will once again ask you to which character you would like the items allocated to.
as i've bought AUR before resets and this is exactly how it worked. assume the same would be true for the merc pack items. |

They said it's just a reset this time, not a full character wipe. My understanding is that this time we're keeping our characters (though they're basically just reserved names). |
