I really like the Mobile CRU module.
It took a lot of fitting skill, but I've even squeezed one into a LAV. :) It's funny to see the response of people who spawn in it.
They're super helpful for getting people deep into enemy territory and can even provide some shelter along their way.
That said, the Eryx and Promethius need some fixing.
The Mobile CRU module completely makes these dropships irrelevant. They have less power and CPU, and are ONLY for those who want to serve as a mobile spawn point, but are a SIGNIFICANTLY more as far as training and cost. The same role can be done with much less.
I propose that they get the an extra slot, take out the Mobile CRU, and are given a good upgrade to their stats, especially CPU/Power.
Either that, or add another version of the transport dropship with better stats and no spawner in it.
I'd also love to see a significant mobility increase, especially in altitude changes and turning/agility.

Heh, I don't know about classy but thanks. If you breathe on it wrong it would blow up, but it was a fun test. |

If you fit it right, you can actually fit a shield booster or a shield extender along with the mobile CRU. But hey, it's an LAV, speed is your tank. |

CCP should look at LAV with CRU. You can easily refit Baloch starter fit so it cost nothing and have CRU, but you can't do same with Onikuma and that's wrong. I think that CRU module should me move to vehicle slot that not interrupt with tanking modules. In eve Clone Vat Bay can only be equip in high slot(weapon slot's in eve). Maybe it would be better if CRU could be equip just in weapon slot.
PS
It would be cool if CRU had several types which differed by a:
- requirement CPU/PG,
- time to spawn,
- type of suit that can be spawn on it,
- mass that can be spend per cyckle(scouts could have no problems with spawning - low mass of dropsuit with fit - heavy could have a small problem to spawn with heavy weapon).

My spawner LAV is fun but easy destroyed. The hard part is getting mercs to get out of the LAV before they blow us up. |

I have one gripe with the mobile cru on vehicles..... why does someone have to be in the driver seat for me to use it.....I am going to spawn in on that vehicle just where the enemy is 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 what ....are they landing, stopping and jumping out....noo, location is no longer available, re-select location and drop suit. |
