...for a game that can only be played 4 days/week? I made the mistake of purchasing for a couple characters, until i realized. Now, i'm running out of AU...so dumb. |

Because its an asset that'll still be there for launch. Doesn't really make sense to have it removed from the database due only to the beta being up 4 days a week. |

Makes sense, but why do they have to advertise it so prominantly in the marketplace? This is going to be a game learned the hard way... |

doesnt matter you get the aur that you spend in the beta back. Just go wild and buy fancy things. I wonder why arent there vehicles that cost AUR? CCP could make alot of money when the vehicle prices are getting higher. |

I wish they would make it to where the time left stopped while you are not in game and also offline.
Now this I would consider spending real money on!!

Dust is also a RTS game. They can't have one part of the game RTS and the other not.
EDIT: In-Game time goes by, which of course the Skill boosters are part of the game, so they are connected to the In-Game time.

It's an RTS game. They can't have one part of the game RTS and the other not

it doesn't really matter, once the game is live you get all your Aurum back and can use the 7 day when its 23/7. nothing lost :) |

well in dust they are using the same thing as in eve. you gain sp while offline. thats why your boosters get used while your not playing or the server is down. The alternitive would be worse like in eve you can set skill and not play for a month and still level. My brother deployed for 7 months and in the game it didnt seem like he was away. |

I thought the boosters were just for battle skill points.
I know points accrue when not playing, but is that for 7 days, or 4?
It doesnt seem that my 30-day boosted character is advancing any faster than my 3-day, or non-boosted characters when down or not playing. |

i know right now if you buy the merc pack you get a 30day one, that you can use now and when ever the wipe you get it again. |
