I think the best way to keep people from stealing your hard earned SP & ISK Vehicle's, is if it isn't their's than they should have to hack it just like you have to hack the enemies vehicle's but maybe not as long of a hack. This would at least give us a chance to get into the vehicle before it is stolen from us. Some people do it just because they can and don't want to use their ISK or because they can't call one in of their own due to the limit restrictions. It is happening way to often on the battlefield and it is happening to alot of people other than just me because you can hear those with mics complaining about it. Any other idea's or comment's ??? |

What do you think about a block that is removed if the actual pilot is respawned? |

Anything works for me other than the way it is now. Or at least give me the option to be able to kick them out. |

Also, a indicator of who's vehicle it is. If somebody calls a sagaris and someone calls a sica at about the same time, how do you know which is the sagaris. I have heard of people complaining about people grabbing wrong vehicle before. A (player name)'s (vehicle name) above the vehicle the way player name is shown would work. It would also help communication when coordinating squad/team if name was shown over vehicle. Less "hey tank by B" when two tanks are by B.
When driving a sagaris, I would hop out to hack if a wasn't worried about a gunner driving off with my tank. Requiring the same skills to drive as call in vehicle would eliminate this problem, to a level where it is a risk worth taking. Better grouping will go along way too, but there will still be some random teams in full game I think(high sec, arenas?). In EvE a unattended ship could be stolen in space, but I believe the thief had to have the right skills, never tried so I'm not 100% on that. |

Having to hack the wrong tank would've solved whose tank it was. I had the same guy steal my drop ship twice when we were red lined so there was no confusion to whose it was ( he just didn't want to call in his ). The 1st time I got in the ship and he flew it low and fast to A and I was using my XT-1 MISSLE Turret shooting at the enemy, then the next thing I know is that I'm dead because he bailed and destroyed my ship without any thought about whose it was or what it cost and without any warning. I could have at least given him cover while he tried to hack A. Well he died while trying a hack A. On respawn I called in another ship while under heavy fire and he stole it again before I could get to it. He took off before I could reach it. It blew up about 30 yards out of spawn, and for the 1st time I actually enjoyed watching my ship get destroyed. Very Costly but -- Karma baby......... |
