Just finished a skirmish battle where my sniper rifle wouldn't fire but if I switched to my secondary gun, it fired just fine. Anyone else having this problem?
Correction: In second battle, seems to be linked to my DragonFly suit fitting. Works fine in the free militia fit |

Don't know how it is with sniper rifles, but i had the same thing happen to my assault rifle a few times. Had to die to solve the problem. |

Dieing is such a great problem solver :)
Outside of EVE I wouldnt recommend it as a solution (even though it does solve pretty much everything). |

Yep, I have experienced the same thing with my swarm launcher, and I think it was my firefly suit too. I switched to secondary and then back and it worked. |

sorry to say i to had this problem, i sat puzzled for around 40s and tried to work it out,

ammo, hmmm erm wtf
omg no ammo i left it in the merc quarters again, i also noticed if you push square your guns reload
no serious had no problems here running stock sniper stuff ( underpowered but i got a kill , woot woot, yeah just one laugh at me i know you want to !!) |

If it's suit that's causing the problem then maybe CCP should look into that.
However, if you are using a "charged" sniper rifle, then please remember to hold the trigger for at least 3 seconds and then release the trigger to fire. |

Yeah, it's not a "charged" sniper rifle. I'll have to check this weekend but maybe it's something as simple as not auto-reloading and I just didn't notice. Thanks! |
