It would really add a sense of unpredictability to combat. I am only proposing this for a few planets, like maybe like 10% of the temperate planets. Alien life could also act as obstacles in PVE battles, I really want to see more than just rogue drones. I agree with the above, having actual PvE areas where you shoot space badgers or whatever the hell would be fine. But keep that segregated from PvP. When I want to fight players, I don't want some dumb mob to start humping my leg and costing me a fight.
