I think its because there variations of the same gun.I hope the MK25 Gause rifle will be cool.Also will that gun from 2009 and e3 2011 be in the game. |

from what i understand is that all races will have its own flavor when it comes to weapons
just look at the SMG and mass driver they are minmatar
the pistol is amarr
and the assault rifle is gallente
the weapon from the future vision is caldari
gallente weapons will most likely be plugged directly into the visor so when you aim you are getting a first persion view of the weapon caldari weapons will prolly have a red dot sight configuration that is built directly into the weapon...think the steyr AUG the minmatar weapons will have the feel of a flip up see thru plastic sight and i think amarr will be iron sights only? maybe? this is all just my guess so i could be wron or i could be spot on |

I doubt they will be stuck to a specific sight type, but they will probably come with a default sight that you can change. |

Yes, they all look the same except for a few color differences, but I think the MK25 Caldari rifle will be added later in the game as a totally new kind of gun with different appearance, as well as a bunch of other versions of it that look just the same.
I doubt the gun from the first trailers will be back; they look Gallente based on their curviness, so its probably just an earlier design of current assault rifle we have now. Same with the dropsuits from the early trailers; they looked Caldari based on their geometricness, and were labelled "assault", so they are probably earlier designs of the current Caldari assault dropsuits. They will have different skins at some point I'm assuming, that's just cosmetics though, cosmetics will be added when balancing and gameplay etc have been tweaked to perfection |

a while back on twitter hilmar asked if we really wanted to see the gun back and me and quite a few others said hell yes
it would be dumb not to bring it back that gun was badass
also the guy that made mention to how gallente sights might be tied into the suit or w/e makes an interesting point
the 09/11 gun was a standard reflex sight and i think it was indeed a caldari gun and also came with an underslung pro pipe
really wanna see some different variety weapons and maybe some lvl of customization to them |
