I think theyre should have been a party system from day one, this is an MMO With emphasis on teamwork and corporations. I could care less about 5 second timers on a RE when some obnoxious person is blaring music in my headset and i cant mute him. If i could mute him, and invite a friend to my squad, then i could get a sense of teamwork, other than following my "team mates" around like a puppy, with no clue where we are going or what the plan is. screw nerfin tanks, make a party system so your squad can actually communicate and maybe you wouldnt have to nerf tanks. cause as far as i can see, one man cant take out a tank, so its unfair to ask them to nerf it just cause you cant kill it on your own. if you had your squad( operative word being :YOUR", not "a" squad) then you could strategise . i apologise if there is another post regarding this, i can barely read the forum or post on the damn thing either. Excuse my frustration, i just dont get it. AN explanation or a heads up when this is coming would restore my faith. Thanks

I think theyre should have been a party system from day one We're still in a BETA, not a release version of the game. There WILL BE PLAYER GROUPING BEFORE RELEASE. It's already been confirmed and more. We will HAVE to be given access to grouping before release, because it will need to be TESTED before release.

Which leaves a possible 4 to 5 weeks before launch date. considering ive been in the beta for a month, and havent seen any changes, (other than a few MINOR changes) doesnt leave a lot of time for testing. No testing, equals delay of launch date. and the "for the love of god " part of my comment was because i havent been able to post jack poop properly for 4 days.

No specified month. Next build OF THE BETA is next month.

Holy Crap, i was under the impression it was the game coming out in August. i Retract my previous comment of the ammount of time for the testing. anyway, i heard bout this game 3 years ago, im just happy its actually happening, dont want another Duke Nukem on our hands. I still Believe the party system should have been adressed first, just my opinion. Any date on that?

CCP are doing the beta the way they're doing it because they want to test vehicles (that's the current phase) against each other and against other weapons in a statistical manner. You can't do statistical tests if everyone's grouping up on you. It has to be random.
Smoker Extreme Alliance Of Giants 42	Posted - 2012.07.21 20:50:00 - [8] - Quote Point taken, but it wouldnt be grouping up, if its squad VS squad, it would be just as equal, if not more. i have groups of enemies talkin and strategising together where as i can only hope for ppl on my team to talk and communicate. i havent fought an equal battle yet. its been my team crushing the other or vice versa. But this is prob the most ambitious FPS ive ever heard of so ill giveem a ton of credit for this. Other than the lack of a partying system, the beta is pretty kickass. n its gonna be free, i wouldve gladly pay another 19.99, at launch.

Plenty of FPS games where you can join a server, see a group of people with a certain clan tag at the top of their team's leaderboard, and are in general just plowing through your team with ease. Not to say sometimes they teams don't get stacked even without grouping, but at least this way it's less common and let's us more easily gauge whether we're being dominated due to imbalances or due to being outplayed by a group of good players working together well.

YOU might not be talking clans, but there WILL be people who party up to dominate, and TEAMWORK will outweigh the balance issues CCP still need to address. Even now, if you get a coordinated team with Advanced weapons but all-Militia fits apart from that, there's NOTHING that can stop them short of a multi-Sagaris attack, and even then it's possible for an organised team to pull a few Sagas apart if they're organised enough.

I'm a regular on a lot of different forum sites, where different coding is used, and several where there's no way to code bold, italics, etc. Caps is the only option that's recognisable across all of them without me needing to remember coding or track down the right button to click. It allows me to type quickly without failing to provide the proper emphasis. I'm sorry if this offends you.
