First off, I lied about the ladies, IGÇÖm as clueless as you. Sorry.
Secondly, to my surprise I could not find a single post on how to report a bug or suggestion.
In my own experience dealing with people and their own world of views and dialects can be both exhausting and difficult. even though I am not really sure if itGÇÖs even needed. This post will contain a small guide and template for posting bugs and suggestions.
When do I report an issue?
Before you even consider reporting a bug, check the forums(for the love of god, use the search button) your issue might already be posted. If so you can then proceed to reply to that topic. This will prevent topic spamming and will make the post more apparent to devs.
If however your issue is not found on the forum... Ask yourself if what is happening intended. Loads of time things might seem unfair or weird while they can be intended. You cannot possible know every intention of the devs but you can read my other post to edumecate yourself about it [can't post hyperlink of thread atm, ironicly I will follow my own guid to report it. For those interrested the topic is called 'BETA Testers mentality'] . If you are still unsure and it canGÇÖt be found, then itGÇÖs time to for the next step!

Hold on there sport. We are not quite there yet. First off look into the issue. Try to repeat it, and make sure to try every workaround to see when exactly the issue arises. This is to make easier for devs to find the problem and fix it, so they can spend more time sending us cuddly messages and cakes(PS: I have not received cake yet).

So now all you have to do is copy one of the following template's and report it.
for title's always use a tag like these:
[SUGGESTION] *small description*
[BUG] *small description*
[BALANCE] *small description*
[MULTIPLE] *amount* issues
Sidenote: when using multiple tag every issue template in the post itself.
For bug reporting and balance issues
Date:
Game mode:
Type: ~Vehicular, weapons, maps, loading, drop suits, GUI, etc.
Repeatable: yes/no
Information:
for this part try to be as specific as you can possibly be. Start out by saying how it occurred. Then describe how it happened, and what the results of it where.
As last tell the devs what you have tried to get the issue to occur or how you tried to fix it. (even weird magical fixes like I switched weapons and my tank didnGÇÖt look like a rainbow anymore)
For suggestions
Type: ~Vehicular, weapons, maps, loading, drop suits, GUI, etc.
Function: ~Tell us what your idea does to the best of your abilitys.
Implementation suggestion: ~Tell us how you want your idea implemented.
Reason: ~Tell us why the hell they should even consider this. |
