Seriously as some of you people complain about the murader, I shouldn't be the only one on foot trying to take them out.
Milita Swarms in large numbers will scare off a murader and if somone drops a nanohive you can keep them at bay instead of getting redlined.
If they are going to win MAKE THEM PAY FOR IT, DEARLY blow up the tanks and usually the rest of the team falls apart if you manage that much. and chances are they're not going to deploy a second murader to replace the first one destroyed.
Also I am not that effective today as the server has a special kind of lag in store for me today where its impossible for me to splatter somone with a drop ship let alone apply collision damage to anything including myself and forge guns are going though tanks again.
Also to any of my inattentive gunners you are there to kill things not collect points which if either of you are not shooting nobody is getting points. I had a perfectly on fire murader being chased down and neither of my gunners would fire on it. Arugh! |

When the threat of redlining is near I usually spread out a few drop uplinks then next spawn I pull out my Proto Swarm Launcher and try to make some room for my team to move around. |

Well I was just in a game where I was the only AV on the entire team against two sagaris that wouldnt get more than 20 feet from away each other. |

Well I do try to help out as much as possible from my end. As a scout though depending on the fitting I have currently at my disposal I try or tend to have at the very least some AV (Anti-Vehicle) grenades on my persons, or as I have been experimenting with a swarm launcher which I find can be very handy for scouts to have. Most often though I use my map awarness and mic to forward as much information as I can to my team on the locations and status of rogue enemy troops. I know how they think because, just like in MAG I was that guy in the back and saying lines like -- "All your base belongs to us." -- and other nonsense. Because, people do not realize that some of the most effective ways to win is to disrupt, hinder, and sabotage your enemy. If I get in the back take a CRU (Clone Reanimation Unit) and stir the hornets nest by taking an unguarded objective which then forces the team to actively lose an objective and gain us another spawn point, or seperate their forces thinning the line; it harms the enemy greatly, and impacts their effectiveness.
As for the vehicles I do wish to promote the usage of scouts with proper AV (anti-vehicle) gear, and the proper growth of our bigger siblings the heavies. Assaults are freaks. GTFO! Mutants. Seriously scouts and heavies have a great relationship, but can be eachother's greatest enemy. |

Most scouts I run into dont like my scrambler pistol to their head. they dorp near instantly with head shots. Either way just saying when the enemy is going Vehicle heavy the team should be adapting. Just like infantry heavy teams you need to swap into anti infantry roles.
Sure investing in anotehr suit can be expensive but there should be skills you need to be brining up for for all suits such as mechancis shields, and weapons and if you honestly hate the heavy suit then get the swarm launchers while they're may not be good against dropships tanks dont have the option of outflying a swarm launcher. |

Unless my team has a REAL shortage of people with anti-personnel weapons, I'm almost always AV.
The main exception is when I'm using my Kamikaze Free Hugs suit. |

Agreed. If I'm not hacking or trying to find some decent gunners for my Dship I'm in AV mode, although my forge gun (or 'Candy' as I prefer to call her) is my personal preference. I have your back. Unless you're driving a red tank o' course. |

I have AV grenades on all of my loadouts. If I'm using an AR, I don't particularly need anti-personnel grenades.
Whereas, if I run into a LAV or a HAV, I throw a few grenades and either take them out or, in the case of the odd sagaris, hardly dent it.
I love coming across a Surya, seeing it start to turn towards me, throw a few grenades and then *boom*. No more tank, and I've survived. |

I consider going full anti vehicle in the full game as there are not enough now. And tht makes them quite enjoyable to use. Also scrambler Pistol kicks Ass |

The only downside of going strong AV is when you are too good and nobody spawns vehicles the entire game. Then you're idling waiting for a target, or running around with your wimpy scout suit and non-proto everything trying to help cap points. 1/2 my AV fits don't even have a sidearm (type 2 scout suit w/ nano hives + uplinks) so I'm basically AR fodder.

And people wonder why I got good with the scrambler pistol I literally one shotted scouts with this thing, if not the second shot usually finishes them off. |

I've been one-shotted by people with Scrambler Pistols as a Scout.
I've also killed HMG-equipped Proto Heavies with my Militia SMG while running an AV build. I have SMG backup on a couple of my AV builds. I can function as a competent support AP player as well - although I'm not good if I'm alone. |

I managed to down an entire squad with a scrambler pistol once but ran out of ammo and couldnt exactly kill the CRU they kept crawling out of. Forge gun only got one more down to half armor before my armor reppers failed on me. They where annoyed as hell though from the cross comms and wanted me dead very badly as I already did enough to ruin thier day sinking every dropship they threw up in the air. |

Nice. I'm doing SMG because my console shooter aim isn't reliable enough yet, but if I do KB/M I may switch.
Whats your preferred AV setup?
I currently run scout + SL, smg, nano. |

If you don't get suicidal militia dropships trying to squish you or custom designed aggro just to come kill you, you're not doing your job, I say. ;) |

They tried that twice. The wall + one forge gun shot claimed them most of the time though or my favorite the anti-airctaft light pole.
They also sent a heavy after me which had the audacity to think that he can down me in 2.25 seconds while he tried to mow me down with the HMG while standing still. Well as monty poython puts it he perfectly did not demonstate the art of not being seen. Forge gun smacked him right dead center of his chest. |
