The repair tool needs some work, it is really hard to tell if you are using it or not especially with your tv turned down. If I remember right it makes a sound when you are repairing something. We might need a different visual maybe instead of the black smoke looking stuff replace it with some kind of spark on the end of the gun and maybe give the black stuff a little color.
Something else is the sp gain this would also work as a visual that you are doing something. Instead of repairing for a set time then getting sp devide it up where you get pop ups sooner, like if for example if you get 50 sp for 10 seconds of repair devide it up to get 5 sp for every second
Another thing is having to chase people because they don't know they are being repaired I've chased Merks and tanks they need some kind of notification that repairs are being done.
Oh and who was the guy in the fat suit I was repairing while he was in a 1v1 hehe |

I like the black smoke. It's less of an advertisement than in other games. Most healers walk around with a giant neon sign in the form of a green bar or red cross symbol over their heads. It just screams "HEY B*TCHES, I'M HEALING! SHOOT ME FIRST PLEASE! FAN ME FOR THE REST OF THE GAME!"
Edit. I agree it is hard to know if you're being healed if you're not in comms. If getting shot produces a red symbol on your HUD, then maybe a blue symbol should be used for healing. |

Ok I guess nobody else is using one to give more feedback.
Maybe this will get you to use it if you didn't know you can repair your own armor with it and it's alot of hp between 20 and 37 for drop suits or something close to those numbers.
But you just whip it out when half or almost all your armor is depleted hit r1 you will be back to full armor in seconds |

Omg self rep???
I used it in a match today and myself and a minigun heavy just owned the crap out of everybody. I also got 100,000 SP. I really love it, but I agree the black smoke needs to change. Though honestly I think it's just a placeholder graphic at this point. |

I like the black smoke, like Abron said, it's less of a "kill me I'm a healer" flag, which is a good thing.
But some kind of healing notification would be good for when it happens. Also, I think they take a LITTLE too long to start working after you press the button. |

Yeah the delay combined with the black smoke makes it really tough to tell if you're actually doing anything. Even if we could get an indicator light or something on the repair tool or something. Green for working red for not. |

Green for working red for not. I've seen mentioned in another thread (and passed it onto a different other thread) a good suggestion which would fix TWO problems...
The damage indicator you get when you hit a target (red flash in your crosshairs) and the directional damage indicator should trigger with a different colour - green or blue - when you're healing/being healed. |
