Last patch if you shot the MCC with a forge gun or Swarm launcher you'd get points after several shots which to me, means that you hurt it. This patch, I haven't seen that at all. But I haven't really focused much on it. |

Last night we were on a round, some of our people were retaking the checkpoints after the enemy had all three. And the MCC were at about 10-15% armour left. I called over the comms that anyone who has SL or FG's should start hitting it. By the time one of the checkpoints came back online, the MCC were down to a sliver of armour left. Had the checkpoint not come back, we would still have killed it. All with handheld AV weapons. |

I haven't noticed points recently but my Proto SL does seem to make small dents in it. But I usually only shoot at it to help push it into armor, or to help the last bits of a MCC kill if things are close. |

Missile turrets definitely do damage, can confirm that from playing last night. Every 3rd or 4th shot you'll get a message like "Caelus damage +15".
Railgun turrets, I'm not sure. Tried it last night but never got the damage message. Doesn't mean it wasn't hurting it though I guess. |

As far as I can tell you don't get points now until the MCC has dropped into armour. You can still damage the shields but you won't get the +15 for it until they are down. |

in my opinion the large missile turrets are working the best against it. High rate of fire combined with damage. |

Yep, taking down shields isn't the same as actually damaging the MCC. I like this methodology because I can tell when my swarm launcher takes out all shields of a vehicle because I start getting the "damage points"

You can get damage from hitting the shields with the missile turrets. It takes a LOT more hits between points earned than when you're hitting armour though. Maybe it has better damage reduction stats on the shields, so you're dealing less damage?
Also, I've seen a small amount of damage from Swarm hits as well, so you definitely CAN deal damage - just not enough that it's likely to be worth it. |
