For some reason I keep freezing in game for about 10-15 seconds. At first I thought this was normal lag but then noticed that all other players were moving around me (and or shooting me) without any jurkiness or the common characteristics of lag.
It is almost as though my controls have frozen for that period of time rather than it being a lag issue.
Is anyone experiencing anything similar? |

today i'm experiencing more lag than usual. by any chance do you use the official sony stereo headset? 7.1 virtual surround sound? try not using it and see if that horrible lag stops. other than that, like i said, today has been horribly laggy for me. usually i see some people "teleporting" but today it is me and others. |

Currently no using in game chat at all.
I first noticed this issue with the release of the E3 build. It worked fine (with a bit of normal lag, granted) prior to the current build release. |

two days running now, all yesterday i had very unresponsive control over char. stuttering when walking, running , shooting.
today i join battle to find i can barely run at all let alone walk, just stood there like a meat shield getting mown down without any chance to do anything. tried to hack a enemy fitting unit " hacking, hacking hacking--- -- -- hacking -- hacking -- hacking" just a constant return from a quarter full hacking bar to nothing.
no fancy voice headset, just standard HDMI tv and the usual TV audio output. full charged controller, plugged in via cable ( to make sure its not controller power problem)
they banished lag from eve to dust 514 ?
would like a CCP DEV'S opinion if the lag will ever be fixed.
is there network problems ?
when will it be fixed ?
possible to reboot servers, see if that helps ?
EDIT : UPDATE
this is beyond a joke, DUST 514 is UN-PLAYABLE .
CCP you Have some bad network problems. EU and US servers lagged out.
this is just not in a fight, but also in merc quarters to and in war room.
unable to make defined selections on market/items/inventory etc etc

atlast more players having network/game/graphics lag
i gave up after 17 kills and 207 deaths.
now we need the CCP war on LAG team to pool those with problems,
and a template bug form , to try pinpoint where i can be coming from.
i for one have noticed very heavy HDD activity when lag kicks in.
lag also shows on the Ambush map to (UK) |

Update: I shut off my Official Sony Headset and the lag is COMPLETELY GONE. |

Not sure if it was lag or lost sync but just now towards the end of a skirmish battle things locked up but others were moving. Then I see a guy floating through the air all the way across the screen. Next thing I know it goes back to the control layout screen and loads me back into Merc quarters like the battle never happened.

i've been noticing it last few days too. i notice it alot when i get into a close quarter fight or when dropships are shooting lots of missile around me. hope the new build fixs this lag cause it really is getting unplayable |

I'll tell you that I anxiously wait for Thursdays... To me, this game is so addictive it borderline illegal. Every weekend has been 10x's better than the last... up until now!
The lagging is making the game more annoying than fun. I'm not just complaining to complain, it really is horrible. I literally have walked away from gunfights just to spontaneously die 5 seconds later. I've watched players jump and weave from my bullets with almost full armor instantly die mid-jump. Whether I'm being killed or getting kills, it's just no fun.
I even quit the game completely and started browsing the internet to see if I just had a slow connection. Watched Netflix and Hulu with no problems, watched some YouTube, played some music... all with ZERO interruption or excessive loading.
This needs to mitigated soon! I'm probably not gonna quit playing this weekend... I still need my fix.. but I may have to revert back to Militia Dropsuits so I don't lose 2M a night. This also means lower SP... when it rains, it pours I guess.
