I want to be able to turn my vid screen in my merc quarters to the Death Channel. All death all the time. Showing 15 second kill perspective recaps of deaths going on in games. |

There's not a huge chance of it being technically viable, but if it can be done, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't. Care to explain? (and yes, I'm serious. If there's a good reason I haven't thought of, it would be nice to know what it is) |

Warpoints channel would be great for recruiting prospective corp members too. And filterable by SecurityStatus/MatchType. |

Might be technically difficult to do.
And one thing is that if this is a feature that one could specify location/battle/timeframe/real time info, then on more serious battles there will be group of players just watching and parsing the information out of this 'deatch channel' and relating that info to the battlefield. Essentially making this feature a remotely operated killcam.
Also what would be the lore justification for streaming these video clips to general public and thus hampering ones efforts on battlefield?
Granted this would be nice recruiting/headhunting tool. And waving ones e-peen
But still I will say to this, absolutely NO.

One place I could see this viable is e-sports arenas, but thats enough. |

I picture it as a remote kill cam of an ongoing match or a previous match, random -- but able to be filtered (multiple channels) -- running in the background of the Join Battle Screen & on the monitor where you can join battles from the merc quarters. I don't think names would be needed, just death. Lots and lots of death in the form of a lead up 15 seconds from the killer's perspective before the kill is completed & following after if there are any additional kills within the next 15 seconds before cycling to the next clip. |
