I can't agree with this. 4x is just fine. Wan't to toss 'nades everywhere? Commit some points to it.
EDIT: And it keeps players from spamming proto grenades all around... |

It could be that you need to calibrate the grenade for your suit, or install it so that it activates when you throw it.
Makes sense, since it requires PG and CPU to equip. |

RE which is both more powerful and more useful then grenades is a x1 skill multiplier.....
secondly everybody should be able to have access to decent grenades without having to grind for them
third grenades really are an afterthought in this game. Nobody is really going to be running around with proto grenades when they can equip other proto gear that will benefit them more. |

The weapon itself is probably smarter than most of the users. |

As this is a vehicle testing map I think they raised some of the multipliers on other skills to encourage road rage.
You will notice it's freakishly easy to get into a tank in this build. |

RE's are being nerfed in the next build, with an arming time plus some other stuff.
A militia Locus grenade can easily take out a scout suit, do a lot of damage to an assault suit and do over 50% to a heavy suit.
I don't have proto grenades yet solely because I don't see the benefit of putting in SP when there's not a huge benefit over advanced grenades, and not because there's other equipment I want first.

grenades have been a 4x multiplier since replication... |

It makes sense, as they are a standalone skill. Other weapons need lots of points dumped into a variety of related skills to become truly effective. 'Nades are just a straight shot to Prototype. |

I think 4x is fine, unles they split AV and AP grenades, making them both 2x or 3x. Be happy they aren't 5x like the proficiencies. |
