Don't know if this is working as intended, but you only receive skill points for armor reps, not shield reps. Seems to be a large disincentive for people to do shield Logi.
if this is a bug- please move thread- I will re-title. |

You mean reps on yourself? Or on others? If you're fixing yourself, I don't think you should be getting any kind of reward whether it's armour or shields. But if you mean remote reps on others, DEFINITELY something I think you should be given points for. |

I dont think the repair tools repair shields since shields regen by themselves. |

If he means the hand-held repair tool, I'm pretty sure that only fixes armour.
If he means the shield and armour repairers on vehicles, there are shield-specific devices, but they fix YOUR vehicle, so they aren't giving you back points because you're repping yourself. |

have you forgot about spider tanking?
hand held armor rep should issue skill points
and so should remote reps for tanks/lav/drop ships that are spider tanking
spider tanking is where tank one is being shield repd by tank 2 or lav 1 is healing tank 2
was wicked fun in the last buil to run around in a spider LAV keeping the tanks alive |

There are remote rep modules for vehicle-to-vehicle shield repair. IE my jeep reps your tank. To my knowledge, no points yet. |

The caldari logistics LAV has an infantry remote shield rep. There are also modules on the market for this. They give no points at the moment. |

spider tanking in dust is going to be a challenge i think. your going to need fast suits, maxed shield and armor hp, heavy resist /buffer tank fittings, but saying that i wonder if anyone is testing that possibility ? |

Weird, thought I'd replied to this. I don't drive any vehicles logi or otherwise but I'd say yes. If you're repairing someone be it shield or armor you should get points for it. |

Still haven't had the opportunity to try the vehicle to vehicle armor reps. All I know for certain is personal armor repper does provide points. |
