Hey,
I'm the only one that thinks these items are over-powered. I see people throw them like gernades and get instant kills way more often using gernades. I think the throw distance needs to be reduced or fixed. What is everyone elses opinion on these items? |

You did kill me like 4 times, I'm not doubting that but it doesn't change the idea that I can see you throw them further then I can throw gernades. It is something I have noticed over the last 2 weeks that more people are taking advantage of it. I'm not mad at you if you tihnk it. Sorry if you felt special. This is a beta and the point of a testing game. |

Can't really limit them to two I played with them for a bit and I have 4 slots to put them in so you could still carry 8 but the 5 sec is cool |

It doesnt even take 5 secs to arm a claymore in other games, maybe 3 though. Nerfing ruins games... |

OP weapons ruin games, too. Just like the old swarm launchers, you can steadily see RE use increasing as more and more people get frustrated by dying to them, then spend the SP pittance required to use them and realize how easy it is to rack up the kills. Un-nerfed, they will eventually become one of the primary infantry weapons.
The chuck'n'blow 'strategy' is just too easy. |

I'm expecting that the right skills, and high-tier REs, will give you 2 - 3 second arming time instead of 5.
And I can throw grenades a LOT further than I've seen anyone throw REs, but I can't actually get my grenades to behave CONSISTENTLY. |

But helpful when a dropship tries to squish you while you throw down an RE and run off, blowing the charge after hitting the ground where you just were, destroying their dropship. Or getting the hop on an LAV or HAV that has been trying to pin you down and blow you away. |

Wheres your source of that? a limit of two is a huge nerf. 5 can't kill a tanked Marauder. 8-10 might do it. It would be aweful if you need to organize 4-5 people to drop remote explosives, stay hidden and alive, and all detonate when a tank rolls over them.
The 5 second arming time is enough. |

Why would you organize people with remote explosives when you can get people with forge guns and swarm launchers?
Maybe place the REs somewhere on the road to cut off this retreat when he tries to heal. Then bait him into the trap. |
