Up to this point in beta I have worked mostly on a Heavy Forge gunner, and happy enough with what it can do. At the end of last weekend i started working on logistics. I see so few dropuplinks and nanohives, even in Ambush that should have a few at a time. After a few Skill points i have logi suit lvl 4 and like the options i have with the high and low power slot, thinking proto logi would be something a merc could really work with. But after getting dropoplink to lvl 4 to see it still had a 20 sec droptime I was not sure about putiing more SP into a logistics suit if the equipment is not going to pay off. Any input from a Proto Logistics player would be nice, thanks. |

I should have my Proto logi suit before this weekend is over, and then I will worry about upgrading my uplinks, nanohives, and other equipment. Right now I do great with just the basic stuff. I wanted to upgrade my weapon and Dropsuit first. I'll favorite this thread and update you after this weekend when I have my proto suit and upgraded equipment, but I know the protro suit will have 4 high and 4 low slots, and I bet 4 equipment slots as well... Should make for an effective Logi Soldier. |

I don't have my proto yet but I do know with the drop uplinks if you read the discription a couple of them(can't remember the names) say that they have faster times. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a skill to help that at some point. In the August build there will be a timer before suicide so nanite injectors will be useful too. Also if you look at the nanite swarms the ones with a (r) by the name means it will repair armor. So the equipment is useful and don't forget there should be some ewar stuff out at some point. Logi is very versatile and I believe I saw that the proto has so many slots you can really make it fit your style. Lots of info there so I hope it helped. |

yeah i have drop uplink to lvl 4 and can use the advanced that say they are faster drops, but time is still 20 sec. so maybe switch off and just get nice nanohives for the repair.... I did have one logistics sneak up on me with a repair tool and try to kill me, if i was not in proto heavy at time he may have done so, I did not see a dmg sign could just hear a buzz, but looked like fun so I may have to try |

I believe the timer on advanced uplinks has a bug that makes the spawn time no faster. Look for that to be fixed in the upcoming weeks. |

the drop up links that let you have more then one out at once are more likely to be useful in any case. Rapid deployment takes teamwork that we can't arrange yet. |

Well thanks for the heads up on the uplink timers being bugged. I forgot about repair tools too, logi is gonna be awesome once all it's little bugs get fixed |

No problem, and the extended downtime is because they are putting in a hotfix to give us our rewards fom last weekend, so with that 1 million SP on top of what i have saved Ill have my proto logi suit in a few short matches (once im home from work in 1.5 hrs) |

Ok so i put the 2m into lvl 5 logistics suit, must say i do like it. will take a little to get a dropsuit or 2 set up and some time as logi as far as game speed. Its also nice to swap up in battle, if team cant handle the vehicles I always have the forge |
