Why arent we aible to shot our guns out of dropships? I would love to go on a hunt with a swarm launcher while sitting in a dropship. Or give us more turrets like a turret that actually shots swarms or forge gun blasts. This would also balance out the "overpowered tanks". If you can hunt down a sagaris with a dropships that has like 2 people in it with swarns then it would cause justice on the battlefield and the tank drivers would rely much more on soldier support who are doing a anti aircraft job with swarn launchers. Also i would like to see support dropships that are capable in replenishing ammo. Or drop nano hives onto the battlefield. Or replenish ammo while sitting in it. |

The problem with your solution is that it solves a problem by creating a new one. I've been killed by dropships sitting on buildings or towers so many times I've lost count. Maybe you've been peeved by the same problem. Imagine how bad things would get with dropships shooting Forge guns or swarm launchers. Swarm Launchers would be even more unfair in dogfights. Once you got close enough to your target they would have no way to dodge. We'd trade a Sargis on the ground for one in the air. |

It's already been discussed with devs and other gamers.. If my memory serves me correctly we agreed to be able to shoot small arms (smg, ar and pistol) from dropships and LAVs.
Note on the swarmlauncher (eventhough this is not a realistic game) when firing a rocketlauncher, there is a blowback on these weapons and thus would be kinda leathal in a confined space such as the dropship (several people inside) and the LAV (shooting would seriously harm the driver and/or the gunner).
But aproving this idea, hate to just stand there and not being able to do anything.  |
