someone help me out here? if we're different factions then why do we look the same? we have the same weapons,drop suit,HAV,LAV and drop suits? |

Assault suits are Caldari, logistics are Minmatar, Heavy is Amarr, Scout is Gallente.
Same drill for weapons and other gear, most ( all? ) of the ARs are Gallente. Some of the HMG are Minmatar, etc..
I think what we have currently is a cross section of the total collection of gear.

I picture each faction represented in each category of gear, but will some subtle variation.
Personally I am rooting for Minmatar assault rifles. |

My guess that in the future we will see differences, be it in equipment design, faction markings on armor, etc.
Remember...were only testing a fraction of whats to come. |

Currently all the factions are investing into this technology sector, its relatively new and mordu is being the middile man presiding over the technology developed with ishkones assistance. So weapons armors tanks and the sort are being thrown our way when they made suitable to our standards. Every faction favors a certain appeal for warfare, Gallente perferr getting in and hitting hard enough to prevent losses on thier end. Caldari which faces a simliar population problem peferr the highest tech one can efficently afford thus comfort is not on the list but killing hte enemy quickly is. Amarr favor slow and methodical and unspottable. Minmatar favor hit and run. |
