I think its kinda crazy and funny that people are already recruting for merc factions when the game hasn't even offically released with this feature. If you are already recruting you havent considered that there might be a maximum member cap or even the in game cost to maintain it. I plan to set up a merc clan but I will only let people in who are actually good at the game instead of just letting anyone join. My question is why are you recruiting already?! |

some of us know what we want and others have seen the EvE way that corps run, and in reality, we pretty much know how things are going to work. They're practically carbon copies of each other is what we are deducing, considering that CCP has stated they'll work pretty much the same way. |

My corp has been recruiting for Dust for months already. And been getting our current members more into the game.
Also there are alliances already that are all about Dust 514 and the link to EVE. |

Although there are actually member caps for corporations (Increased with the Corporation tree of skills), you can always just make more corps and play together. Coalition like, or band together and become an alliance (cost a billion isk, though, + alliance maint costs every month.)
You can also use https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=99476 EACS to make you a corporation with the maximum members allowed, 6300. |

You ever think their might be a snowball effect with clans starting to **** from day one? You can start to delegate different positions to clan members.
Being in the Beta gives you a chance to realize what you wanna do. Former snipers might wanna be tanks. Dust isn't going to give you the respec button. You're going to have to live with your decisions.
Their is going to be power struggles from day one possibly. Better start now with alliances of different clans.
Now the recruiting part is a little silly. Find a clan your used to rolling with and come over when the time is ready for Dust 514. |

I think joining a corp before release just saves you time of having to look for one in game, at release. I'd rather be taking my first steps in the EVE universe with my friends rather then screw around with randoms, wasting time and money.

I'm the ARO, except of the founders everyone else has to come to me or one other person for questions or applying.
There also is a list in game of who is in the alliances and it's all public. lol
There isn't much you need to remember, but if any corp members sign up for the corp when we can then they will be in the alliance anyways.

Recruiting might seem like a silly idea in beta, but on the other hand this is the best opportunity to recruit seasoned veterans who already know how the game works. Not to mention how to build up their character so they are optimized to do maximum carnage / support.
ps. I already signed to a corp just for the 'ease of access'. Well not only that but, come launch I'm already on a player run corp that will have plans and ambitions that NPC corps lack. |
