Has there been any sort of announcement on timing for the next build? I really want to go for logi starting with the million SP that we're all getting, but not until the 8sec minimum bleedout and new UI indicators are added. |

Actually, all we know is that there's a new build coming SOONGäó and that there's going to be "an August release" from CCP, and that at the same time as the August release (which may or may not be the new build), we'll be getting our exclusives that come from the time we've spent in the beta (where they've been tracking our sign-ins and things).
We don't have any timeframe at all on the next build. We don't have any confirmation that the August release will even be DUST-related (except in the to-be-released bonuses for people in the beta). |

You'd think that. I mean even my own AV (Anti-vehicle) grenades do not seem to affect infantry, but every so often it seems I will be killed by an AV grenade thrown at me or around me. So I really do not understand why mine would not kill infantry either. Not that I expect them to -- they are suppose to be anti-vehicle grenades. Not anti-infantry. I swear sometimes.. |

He meant in the upcoming build, where they're adding in a mild short-range homing effect as well.
Throw AV grenade at infantry NOW: Boom. But with modified stats to deal much-reduced anit-personnel damage.
Throw AV grenade at infantry IN UPCOMING BUILD: Nothing. Literally NOTHING.
Throw AV grenade at vehicle NOW: Boom. If you're a little off, you only get splash, and if they're moving fast enough, they might be out of the blast before it explodes.
Throw AV grenade at vehicle IN UPCOMING BUILD: When it's close to the vehicle, the grenade WILL HOME IN ON THE VEHICLE FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE. |

Why, and more importantly, HOW are you two even here?
Since you obviously either don't know what FPS means, or haven't played DUST, but are in an area restricted to people who agreed to NDA, I feel safe clarifying this for you.
FPS = First Person Shooter.
First Person = viewing through the eyes of your character.
Shooter = game where you launch projectiles at enemies.
DUST 514, even in it's current early beta stages without the MMO elements being implemented, has gameplay which is viewed through your main character's eyes, and you are mostly using projectile weapons to eliminate other players.
So, in summary, DUST fits the definition of FPS down to the letter.

Actually, the newest build is probably only a week or two away. They've told us that They have a smaller build with a few fixes in QA currently, and when it passes we will have it ASAP. |

Before the E3 beta, there was another map we no longer have access to which was much larger and had a group of objectives to complete first before the ABC opened up. |
