I'm not sure how doable this is, but I think it would be awesome if corporations could buy up ad space on the monitor thing in the mercenary quarters.
If this idea is possible, corporations could send in short videos to CCP for review. Then if accepted, corporations could pay ISK/AUR to compete for add space. The amount of money paid will determine the amount/number of times their advertisements are allowed on air.
I feel like this is a good idea because it will help get new players interested in diving deeper into the game by joining a corp. The more dedicated players we have the better. This would hopefully generate a new source or revenue for CCP other than skill boosters and microtransaction packs.
New corporations are always looking to advertise themselves. |

This could either be a great ISK sink, or what people would perceive as a push towards buying Aurum.
Which currency are we talkin' here?

Me, personally, I wouldn't care if it was an Aurum thing. The only reason I ask is because as soon as someone sees a slight difference between Aurum and ISK items, they flood the forums with "WTFCCPULEID2METHISISPAY2WINIMGONNAGOCRYANDTELLMOMMYYOULIED!!!", and apparently every item they add that incentivises Aurum a bit is the devil. |

It doesn't matter to me either.
It's up to the wizards at CCP to find the balance between the two currencies.
I will say this though, I want want people to support CCP in order to turn this incredibly ambitious project into a profitable project. |

So, I really thought that this was an awesome idea. Why isn't it getting all hyped up and stuff?
Like seriously, I "aaaaawwed!!!!!" when this idea popped into my noodle. (Though I'm sure this idea has been thought of before). |
