Hello,
I see an option to invert the view Y-Axis, but no X-Axis. Can/Will it be implemented?
Thanks.

Thats a really rare thing to be asked... why invert the x axis?? |

Well, the easiest answer would be: why not? Correct me if I'm mistaken but it doesn't seem a huge thing to implement. I'm not a hardcore fps player on the console but I've noticed that most games (fps or not) have the option to invert the X-axis for the view and personally I find that is more comfortable having both Y and X inverted while playing on the analog controller. |

Well, while I can't see a possible reason to do this, I guess I agree on the "why not?" standpoint. Doesn't seem like a big deal, and there are obviously some people who use it that way. |

You are the first person I have ever seen make this request for any game. Heck this is an option left off even most PC games. Very odd. But I still support the option. |

+1 Supporting this, even if just for the oddity of it. |

I can't think of many current-gen shooters - FPS or TPS, console or PC, where they actually offered "invert X axis" as an option. Even the majority of RPG and hack'n'slash type games don't offer it, although it's more common for those games than other genres, so I'm not sure where your "most games have the option" comment comes from. It's actually VERY rare, particularly on consoles.
Still, it's a good idea, and will hopefully come along with controller remapping (which is confirmed to be on the way). |

I agree, if nothing more than for vehicles. (Inverting the axis means you're turning the camera, not the vehicle). Quite a few games do this without you realizing it. |

Please implement this (as an option, and not just for vehicles).
Most games actually do these days, some examples: Metal Gear Solid series, Killzone series, Uncharted series, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls etc.
Would be a shame if this was left out for whatever reason, as it is rather trivial to implement if Y-axis invert is already in. Plus this is quite crucial to me if I am to play using the controller.
Thanks. |
