there are 3 character slots to use but there is no way to log out and back into another char without restarting the game completely. i would like to see this so that i can change characters without waiting for 5-10 minutes for a game reboot. |

You could always just play the same character. different characters dont have a difference to how much SP you earn, in fact you're better off just skilling all of it on one character so you can do everything and anything if you need to switch strategies. |

But honestly, why even make more than one slot then? if you can do everything from one toon then theres no need for additional slots. rebooting sucks. so i'd like to see a login/logout button. if not then get rid of the additional slots. |

Even in EVE you have people that have multiple accounts (I was one of them) people specialize in EVE on different accounts if they haven't played since the beginning , an example would be a combat character on 1 account, a mining character on another , and a research and manufacturing character on another, you can train all skills on 1 character but it takes time , its better to have multiple characters and specialize, there is a reason why there are 3 slots, haven't checked to see if you gain passive skillpoints on other characters, in EVE only 1 character can gain passive training time with skill not sure if that's the case here, in DUST's case additional skills will be added down the road so it may make sense to specialize into one area of specialization until there are no more skills to train in, then move onto another desired specialization.

well then it would be a good idea to add a login and logout option then right? because right now the only way to change toons is to quit game and restart it. |
