I've been using the base T1 Forge gun the last two nights and half the time I'll try to charge it but it will only charge for a second or two before resetting and starting the charge over again, and again and again. When this happens I either keep trying (re-pressing the R1 button or just holding it for a good long while) or I will just give up and run around for a few seconds and try again till it works. I've also noticed that a lot of the times if I have a charge loaded it will eventually fire on its own even though I'm still holding the button. |

I occasionally see the same behavior with my forge gun. Its happened with all of the different Assault variants that are purchased with isk. |

I have been seeing the same issue with regards to the shot firing randomly once charged.
I tested to see if it was related to movement or even if it might be caused by my character sliding down uneven terrain. Flat ground, hilly ground, moving, strafing, stationary, etc didn't seem to make any difference. Yesterday it was so bad about 50% of my shots would fire on their own accord. |

I'm in the same boat. Last night I played 2 games and ended up calling it quits because I was having issues charging my FG, it letting the shot off when it felt like, issues sprinting and also issues aiming my SMG...I would hold down R1 to aim but the sight kept popping in and out of scoped mode. I'm guessing this could be some sort of connectivity/latency related issue? |

There are general problems with controllers, where the game glitches with sustained button activations. Forge guns, swarm launchers, snipers and others all suffer from it. |

Occasionally I'm seeing the same behavior from my Forge Gun. I thought I was imagining it or doing something wrong myself till I read this post.
I do know that if I start the shot and accidentally push R3 (pushing down on the right joy stick), it does interrupt the shot and keep it from firing at all. I have to watch to not do that. However, when I was very sure I had not pushed down R1, I noticed the FG not finishing charging and making the shot.
I'm wondering now, will being shot yourself and damaged stop the charge and your own shot?
