This came from some chatting the other night on the IRC channel.
I'd like to ask a favor of CCP, when you do open up orbital bombardments I have a odd request. I'd like you to make a map with a single lamp post in the middle of it. And I'd like you to then record that lamp post getting hit by Every bombardment you have available.
If anyone else would like to see this as well please post a response here. I know I'm not the only one wanting some payback on the poles of death.
Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure. |

them lamp posts are awsome , i got realy board with the current map so i decided to take my jeep out and see what i could jump and how much air time i could get , and one time my jeep landed dead center on a lamp post and stayed there , balanced on top of it , so i decided after lmao for a min to hop in the gunner seat and popped 2 ppl b4 being shot , long live the lamp post . |

I don't care if you fix the lamp posts. I just want to see some payback.
And you have to admit, this would be a fun way for you to show off the orbital bombardments.
Also, why aren't you on IRC with us Frame?

Even drop ships are hurt by lamp posts. They take more damage kissing it, than they do slamming full force into the ground (and everything else) trying to smash another player. |

please increase lamp post damage and increase the number of lamp posts, it makes it more challenging to squish people.
currently squishing people in dropship is too easy.
i want to see the entire enemy team on that pole like a stripper trying to earn her PHD. |

That turret that's pretty much directly across from objective C. When ever I use it that freaking lamp post almost always deflects the shots. I can can destroy tanks with it, but not the almighty lamp post.
Seriously, when the eve guys start orbital bombardments, just stand next to a lamp post.
Then when we want to fire back, just start shooting the lamp posts at them. |

Take it off its pedestal, cut it down a peg or two. And please give us a show for it. allow us to kill that monstrosity, or kill it with an orbital strike at the opening of a match :) |

Just because YOU think its a good idea doesn't make it true does it?
in regards the wobbling hud i thought it was a good idea until i saw footage of the old beta now i think removing it was a defo improvement.
so thats your opinion vs mine. however ccp could well decide to bring back the wobbling hud for the next build as its there opinions that matter most, were just here to test for bugs and share ideas. |
