There needs to be some kind of stat on the fitting screen that shows how much damage a weapon will do. This stat will include the player skills and damage mods. Since you can have more than one weapon, have a primary weapon DPS and a secondary weapon DPS. Damage per Second might not be a good way to display the damage in an FPS, perhaps have a Damage per Round. It wasn't until one of the latest patches that DPS was added to the (yes...I am going there) EVE fitting screen. Please don't let it take 8 years for a simple stat to show up in DUST.
Also, right now there is a damage multiplier stat, but it does not change. If you use a Damage Multiplier Mod, it still shows 1x. It should change based on the mods/SP of the player. I would just get rid of the Damage Multiplier stat and use the DPS/DPR stat above.
Finally on the fitting screen, it would be very helpful if you could copy a fitting. Say you have a favorite heavy fitting, but you want to just change the grenade type. You currently have to redo the whole fitting just to change one item.
I know I said finally above, but in the future, it would be awesome to have corp fittings like in....that one other game. |

This, this right here is a must to be added on the weapon or loadout stats. |

Actually, in a similar vein, there are certain pieces of equipment that indicate a penalty in the information screen when stacking multiple units in a single loadout. However, I can not find any location that indicates what the penalty is or at what point it becomes impractical to stack multiple modules of the same type. It would be nice if the fitting screen represented the total overall effectiveness of the modules; i.e. the armor or shield modules that mitigate damage. Conversely, it could represent what the drop in percentage is for each successive module of the same type.
Either way, it's a very similar issue that would be nice information to have. |

Seconded. Like this info in EVE, would like to see it in DUST as well.
Until then I would assume the stacking penalties in DUST follow the same formula as EVE, this may help people until if/when this info is placed into the game.
Fitting Ships <- this link explains more on it at the stacking and penalties portion in section 1. Though no formula is listed. |

I think it would make more sense if you clicked show info on a fitted weapon, that is just showed the new damage amount based on your skills and fitted modules.
It drives me crazy not being able to tell if my forge gun is actually doing more damage or not with 2x damage amplifiers added to my suit..... |
