Sprinting and reloading at the same time would be nice. I've had to stop at a corner or crate ect. so many times just to reload, but while I reload some person comes up and mele/shoots me from behind. Maybe it'll be added in during the actual game. This feature is in so many other games and works to everyone's advantage. Of course DUST514 is not those games, but it would still be a nice feature. |

True dat same thing happens to me, plus it would be really cool animations. |

Ever tried reloading an assault rifle in the middle of a firefight? Now try releasing the magazine from the AR, pocketing that (in a different pocket, so you don't mistake it for a full one on your next reload; always use the same pockets for empties, and the same for full, so you don't get mixed up), fishing a fresh mag out of your LBV, and then loading that into your rifle; all while sprinting full out.
No, we should not be able to sprint while reloading (be glad we can reload while running at normal speed, as even that can make reloading very difficult, even with extensive practice). Being able to interrupt the reloading animation without losing the ammo in that mag entirely is sufficient.
What we do need, however, is the ability for melee attacks to interrupt the reload animation, as if CCP or anyone else thinks I'm going to stand there like an idiot and continue trying to reload, when I could bash the guy's face in with the butt of my rifle instead, they're ******* insane. |
