I know the dropships are cool and everything but if your flying it the only way to get kills is to crush people which is a drag and dangerous. I think it would be cool if there were one or two man aircrafts with miniguns on them which can be used by the pilot.
Something similar to this would be cool:

In some of the preview videos there are fighter-style aircraft. They'd also help cut down on the dropship spam we're seeing at the moment (since there's no major downside to dropship camping.)
They're just not here yet... |

I think gunships is something we will have after release.
I think the vehicle classes we have now are what we will see at launch though. |

OK seriously...FU CCP wtf is up with No Minmatar stuff aside from an SMG and useless grenade launcher. I hate you, I want a rusted vehicle that requires shots to drive to stave off lock-jaw....DAMN YOU CCP.

True but they did also say that 6 was going to be out on release and 2 at a later date. And am sure that the MCC will be one of the classes so we can look forward to two more classes |

So far CCP have never had DLC that you have to pay for.( Just look at EvE they have 2 major updates a year for close to 10 years now and no DLC) and I don't think that will work whit the setup that they are going for. But they may be expensive SP and ISK wise so to get a hang on one early you got to AUR it. |

VTOLs is fairly broad in terms of what kinds of aircraft fit into that description. Basically it's anything that can take off or land vertically. Some variations of Jets, Helicopters, Cyclocoptors, Tiltrotors and other modern equivalents already exist.
So what do you think we should or could see from the remaining vehicle types and what other VTOLS would you want? |

or a hoverboard like from back to the future when marty mcfly went to the future in 2012.
