Right now people spend a lot of time each build into this game to try more things. To help us test this beta and give you more feedback on a more variety of items, allow us to redistribute/respec/reallocate skillpoints.
I am NOT asking for this to be in there upon release as that wouldn't make much sense. |

Makes sense, would make testing much faster, and the beta IS for testing. |

Eve has something similar to that and is actually very useful. They only allow one neural remap a year. This would actually be a pretty good idea to allow this in the beta maybe one a week just to put a limit on it.
Then after release do the same as EVE does with the neural remap. Actually EVE's now that I think about it isn't for the skills themselves its more like what your good at like if you wanted to learn mining faster you would up whatever part of your "brain" stores that knowledge so yup just for beta but a neural remap like eve's wouldn't be bad for release. long as it's limited like eve's is. |

For players such as Velvet Overkill who get like 2mill SP per week, this will greatly improve the variety and quantity of items we test. |

I think it makes sense for testing purposes. |

if they do the nural remapping for release wouldnt u need to actually train the skills instead of allocating sp from in the battles
not sure what there intending to do in the final release is it going to be the same as it is now ?
if thats the case and lets say ur working away for 2 weeks and cant play thats 2 weeks worth of sp u didnt get as u was were unable to log in and play
in eve u can set a long skill training so when u come back u havent missed out on any sp and can now use that shinny prototype weapon u were looking at
id perfer the eve version of skills but then wot would u gain from joining in a battle besides isk?

Well in DUST there is passive skilling as well as active. It is true that if you don't play, you miss out on some SP though, but there is diminishing returns that tries to balance that. |

Neural remaps are NOT skill redistributions, COMPLETELY different.
That being said, letting us play around with skillpoint redistribution in the BETA would really be a big help |

Yeah, this is a great idea, it would make it much easier to test the game! However, if you could re-spec straight into the higher level gear people might tend to leave out the lower end stuff and that might not get tested, which might be a problem!

Hmm... SP re-allocation once a week/month? But only in the BETA. Liking the idea but not sure if it's anything that could acctually work. |

The problem is that nearly EVERYONE would just remap their skills in order to drive Sagaris' and equip CreoDron Breach rifles. Not much else would be tested. |

I like the idea, and if everyone goes to the OMG proto gear quicker then the testing will be more balanced and new tactics will be developed and more bugs will be found. |

If you can remap multiple times, people will remap again to try different things. I find it unlikely that people would waste such an opportunity; sure they will get the most powerful things (which I don't think is that much of a problem), but they can just do it again once they get bored and want to try something new, or else it would be a waste of an opportunity. Even if they do waste that opportunity, I myself and some others would definitely use it for actual testing purposes. |

Oh I definitely agree, and I would want to take advantage of this. But the IGN roody-poos wouldn't, and we'd be back to how frustrating the game is already with these OP items and specs.
HOWEVER I do like the idea of skill remapping for the release is some sort of limited form. |

why not let us have a remap every major build. This would cut down on overuse and allow us to test the new stuff easyer |

We also need to test the difference between player builds. Otherwise everyone will have prototype for everything they like.
In future character wipes (Minus the final release wipe), allow use our SP back or at least a percentage of it to help us reskill. |
