I logged on today hoping to play for the 4th of July weekend event, but it said something along the lines of "Your voucher has either expired or has not entered its validity period. Press the PS button to quit." So, I did the obvious thing an pressed the PS button to quit. The screen went black and stayed black for longer than normal when quitting a game. Then, i heard the 3 beeps indicating that the PS3 had crashed and was restarting.
I don't know if this bug happens when quitting the game in all situations, or just that particular situation. Regardless, it's never good when the PS3 crashes like that.
On another note, I'd like to know why my beta key is no longer valid. I was emailed a notification that I was entered into Mordu's Private Trials, and was also emailed a notification of the 4th of July early weekend event. I logged onto PlayStation Home and when to Event Horizon, the beta kiosk said that I had been entered into the Dust 514 beta and it was still displaying my beta key. I can even still enter the key to download the client, so why can't I play? Anyone else encountering these issues? |

Veigar, I had that issue once before around when I first got access too. Hasn't happened since, even on that screen. Regarding the voucher expiration, what I've been seeing is that the PS Home voucher you received was for that one weekend event only, despite it not being entirely clear. (There have been several other threads on the matter that you can find, if you take a look, so definitely don't feel alone in your situation.) |

Well, that really is unfortunate.. I've been following Dust for a good 4 or 5 months, even played Eve for a few months while I was waiting for Dust! Is there any way I can get another beta key without paying for the Mercenary Pack? I'm way to broke for that. |

You can try keeping an eye on their pages on Facebook and Google+, if you use either, as they were releasing codes there for awhile, some full access, some not. There's also Twitter that you can try. Right now I haven't seen any new codes released.
I've also seen others say that weekend events like we received codes for are to happen every other weekend, so the weekend after this, there's a possibility we may receive another code. I'm not sure if that's true, but there's a chance there. Much likely to have better luck keeping an eye on their social media feeds though. |
