Another really simple idea, I'd just like to change the order that my fittings are in so I don't always have the militia on top, and can put my customized fittings on top. Or just put them in any order I want. Split seconds make a difference in any good close battle, and I hate having to scroll down to spawn EVERY TIME. Minor issue, but once again one I hope the players agree with me on.
As a caveat I think most players would also agree that just because its your sidearm doesn't mean your SMG can't be your primary weapon, I would like a more EVE like fitting system where I have a limited number of turrets that can hold certain items but I can still decide which slot holds what, and thus the priority of my weapons. This way my scouts primary weapon can be SMG with a Swarmlauncher backup =). |

I thought the same, the players should be able to set in the fiting window with which weapons they want to respawn as primery weapon. |

I like the idea. Being able to rearrange the order in which your fittings appear is probably the easiest solution for the problem too.
Another method I thought of would be to have Dropsuits categorised by several factors, and allow players to open/close categories at will. You could have "sort by tier" which lets you ignore ALL Militia suits with one button-press and skip to the high-quality gear quickly and easily. Another option would be to "sort by suit" where the different types of suit (Scout, Logi, Assault, etc.) are in separate categories, so you just open up the type you want then scroll to the relevant fitting. You could also have a "sort by weapon" option to easily switch between anti-infantry and anti-vehicle fittings without having to scroll through lists of the wrong kind of fitting to reach the one you want. Taking it a step further would be to have the option for custom categories and let players sort fittings how we want.
It's a little more complicated, but I think it would work well.
If they don't do something this detailed, I think at the very least you should be able to set a "preferred fitting" that the game has selected by default without rearranging the listings. If you pick one of your mid-tier suits, it should make it easier to scroll up and down through the list. |

I like this idea. It is getting quite tiresome having to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list to select my most commonly used dropsuit. |
