I am a player who excels at using the Assualt Froge gun that fires as soon as it is ready (no holding down a shot). I have tried using other forge guns that allow you to charge and hold a shot when it is ready to fire, which is a very useful ability, but I have come across a problem that makes these forge guns much less appealing than the assualt forge guns to use: there is very little on screen indecation of when the forge gun shot is ready to fire! Sure we get a bit of sparks and parts of the gun move around, but that isn't clear enough. On a forge gun with a long charge I often find myself letting go early when I think/feel that it is ready, and instead got no shot at all, needing to start the charge again.
As a player this can be incrediblily frustating. So I propose some solutions to make these forge guns easier to use by having a clear indiction of when they are ready. Some possible solutions I have thought of:
-when charge is ready on the forge gun, a bright green/red light turns on near the handle on-screen, maybe with a optional "beep" sound to lets you know your gun of distruction is ready to fire.
-controler vibration, either as when shot is ready, or increasing too full charge, shaking the controler violently as if the gun was in your own hands. This would most appeal to me because it would help make the weapons "feel" powerful/awesome from a player standpoint. It should also have a option in the game options to turn this feature off if a player does not like it.
This kind of thing I find in shooters is what makes using weapons fun, when they just have these little touches that make them feel right, things like shotguns in shooters games must be loud and equally important blow the face of anything in your face. Your thoughts fellow beta testers? |

i agree that there should be some sort of charge-ready indication, especially on the charge sniper. your zoomed in most of the times, so if your rifles doing anything you will NEVER see it while sighting in... something akin to railguns perhaps? unique to each weapon class would be nice but it would serve until something better can be worked out
perhaps for weapons that can 'hold' a charge, have it fill red, and when its ready light green(or better yet fill green and go red when its 'danger hot' |

The forge gun used to have a red ring that would fill up to indicate that its ready to fire. No idea why hey took it out, it was very usefull. |

They are changing out the charge art assets but the new ones aren't ready yet. So we just have to make do until next patch. |

seems silly to remove functionality while replacement is still being finished... |
