When I first logged in and attempted to play i found that movement and camera controls lagged and jumped. I could fully press the left thumb stick forward and the character would move forward a step and then freeze. I could then wiggle the left thumb stick to the right and left while still fully pressed forward and the character would move forward in a very jumpy manner. The same applied to the camera controls using the right thumb stick.
This same experience existed in all phases of gameplay (in the lounge, the battlefield, etc).
I am using a GameStop Wireless Controller for PS3, Model BB-6308
On a whim i switched back to the Sony PS3 branded controller that came with the system and all functionality was restored with smooth movement and camera controls. When i switched back to the GameStop controller the same problems occurred. |

A very quick look has shown that other people have had problems with Gamestop's controllers (wired and wireless). It could just be unfounded hate on a big name, but it's a possibility. What does your controller do in other newer titles? |

Ps3 Control Delay. Its a beta it happens.
The beta causes stress on your Ps3 just give it a hug and it will be better  |

Just to confirm, this has happened to me as well. It isn't a problem specifically with Gamestop controllers either, as I'm using a Logitech controller and am having the same exact problem. I can't even play because after 5 years of service, my Sony branded controller broke a few months ago and I don't have the money to get it replaced, XD |

I'm having this issue as well. My controller works fine outside of the game, like Playstation Home, for instance, but has the exact same problems described by the original poster once in DUST, but only when concerning movement.
Menu selection works fine.
I'm using a Logitech Cordless Precision. |
