The current description for the charged sniper rifle states: "The charge variant fires rapid, low-damage slugs or slow, high-damage slugs"
As far as I am aware, there is no weapon with multiple firing modes, nor is there a way to switch between them. (Correct me if I am wrong)
I believe this rifle is intended as charge only, which is slow high-damage. Therefore, the "rapid, low-damage slugs or" part needs to be removed as it is highly misleading to the function of the rifle. |

If you hold R1 you can fire charged shots.
"Rapid shots" are fired at the usual SR speed (if I remember correctly) so yes the description is misleading: you don't fire more rapidly a la Tactical SR. |

I never had a problem using it, last build or current. Just have to time the trigger usage differently. |

On the charge sniper rifle I would like to see the blue electric effect that the forge gun does on down the barrel of the charge sniper rifle . |

Well, either i do something wrong, or there's a bug, because for me, quick fire don't work at all.
No matter how short i press R1. And so, I'm limited to charged shots.
Any help?
Oh, and I reaaaly want that charge indicator. |

I had tried tapping the fire button rapidly, but still didn't work. |

This is very true with this rifle. Other rifles fire when you press the fire button; however, this riffle fires when you depress, or release, the fire button. It takes a bit of getting use to, but it is not so bad once you get use to it. |
