And I you, brother. That's the worst of it for me, knowing names in context of these forums. I don't know if I will be able to remember everyone in some other forum or game environment, and that sucks hard.
I've never spent so much time on a game forum as I have in DUST. I recognize you all, the few remaining lot, because you are here with me. In that, there is a bond. Losing these forums breaks my heart deeply because I will be losing the personalities that I've come to learn and love and have vested in---even those I've argued and want to sometimes strangle.
Discord doesn't do it for me on any level. This is home.
I wish you retired mercs all the best and only regret not making more an effort to squad up with each you. I hope to see your names pop up somewhere in the future.

Been with CCP since before DUST 514 was released, so not quite new. I was actually talking about the forums dependency on EVE Gate services. Perhaps should've specified "equally archaic software dependencies". C'est la vie.
