The first modular table in the world from Croatia wins the Kickstarter
After two years of work, the Croatian startup Modulos has started to conquer the domestic and world markets. Modulos is a table that can be fully customized and meets all technological needs
Behind the first modular table in the world stands young Croatian designer Matej Grozdanovi-ç (29) and startup company Modulos. The specialty of this table lies in its complete adaptability and accessories that will meet all the technological needs of the user. Whole production takes place in Croatia.
It is made up of wooden rectangular modules that evolve a table of whatever size or shape you want, you can shape it in the middle of the room, as an angle table or even in a lipstick version for offices where people sit side by side.
In addition to spatial adaptability, each module contains useful add-ons to meet all modern technological needs of users. So now there are modules with USB hubs, iPad docks, rotating docks, wireless charging or pen slots.
- A buyer no longer wants to buy the product but wants to interact with the product. This is a combination of everything, the buyer has an absolute influence on what he will get. It is not just about color or form but about real needs, - Matej explained.
Prices during the Kickstarter campaign will be significantly lower than the ultimate market, and Croats will be able to order limited quantities at a cheaper price so you can order a set of 6 modules with their associated $ 649 or set of 8 $ 799 modules.

Like it's honestly a nice table. But, the price is a turn off. A modular table is a nice idea, easy to move around based on occasion/needs... but imho, the price doesn't show it as more useful than a simple table/desk. Just my opinion on it.
