CCP / Devs apparently don't have a clue on what they're doing. Yes! I understand it's a BETA, and there will be issues. But not being able to get past the character screen is ludicrous. I challenge any DEV / CCP employee to reply to this post. This is a horrible start to what could be an awesome game. There is absolutely no reason for it taking soooooooo long just to be able to completely log in.

Not ccp/dev but i havnt had any issues with loading times at all, havent been kicked of by the servers which on battlefield 1943 i do all the time, dust will be a great game, maybe you just havnt got your connection setup correctly, have you thought it might be you

It's the BETA itself. Not that it matters but I am a Computer / Network Analyst for the US Army. I know my way around a router, port fowarding, etc. it's the CCP / Devs who "bit off more than they can chew" .... me thinks!!!! Further more .... it is a bit annoying that CCP has not addressed the issue .... don't you think?? just curious!

That is not the fix for everyone unfortunately. Please don't put out info like that. Many people are not used to configuring their router, and you may unintentionally mess them up! Also, that was the first thing I tried ..... and no luck! You just got lucky to be able to play. Please don't provide false information to those still trying to get in. If that were the actual case .... I'm sure the CCP /Devs would have made mention. Thanks though!
