afternoon I'd like to apologize. It was at that moment and for at least 45mins after that me and the dentist realized I did NOT have nearly enough numbing agent in my gums before attempting to extract my impacted tooth.
And if you heard unidentifiable screaming all day Saturday and throughout the night that was also me post-op. But I have pain meds and pudding so it's good unless I overdo the chattering and eating.

Holy crap, I feel your pain bro. I once had to get the same thing done, at a private dentist. Her needles weren't having any effect, and she tried to pull the tooth out anyway, but after a minute or two of pure screaming and not being able to do anything, we gave up.
Later when I gathered enough courage to actually try again, I went to an actual hospital and got 2 needles on each side of the tooth. I think that's plenty of numbing agent for the massacre that ensued xD but it all went well and it didn't even hurt in the next days, I had the tooth extracted in the morning, and on the same day I went to class in the evening, no major problem apart from not being able to really eat anything that day so I drank lots of milk and fruit yoghurt, so I had diarrhea at school looool.

I haven't had any pulled yet.
Dentist says I should get 1 of my wisdom teeth removed, though, since it's impacted with the one next to it, but it doesn't really bother me yet.
Will I be any less wise for pulling a wisdom tooth? Haha

Will I be any less wise for pulling a wisdom tooth? Haha Funnily enough, it's not wise to keep wisdom teeth if they might cause problems in the future, because when they do... Let's just say it's not a pleasant experience.

Now we know from now on I'm going under for any future surgeries. But it's been aching only when eating for months. And they pushed the appointment to August.
I said it hurt really bad in September of last year. It took a few months after just asking to just drive to an office for urgent care. Then a few MORE months to finally get surgery. Once 'he's autistic' was said on the phone no one mysteriously was available to operate.

I don't think a dentist would turn a patient down just because he's autistic. You're reading into it too much.
@2Many - Yeah, it's just the one that's impacted that I'm thinking of pulling out. The others developed just fine, the dentist said.

I could be, but more often than not I've heard phone calls change their tone the second autism or medically complex is mentioned. But i could be. Why else after every appointment do they mention 'He's the most well behaved autistic I've seen?'
And have to explain 'no he's not aggressive' more often than you know. People with autism experience prejudices because it's a stereotype that every autistic is violent or Rain Man.

I don't want to start a big thing and I'm willing to admit i could've overthought it, but I know what I've heard. And forget medical issues coexisting with autism. It's been almost nine years and just LAST YEAR I found a doctor that's equally stumped but willing to help.
