After 4 years of limping along ,my trusty old Sony Xperia Z died for the fourth and final time. The first time it died when I messed up the charging port like a dingus because it is completely symmetrical, so you mess around until it hopefully enters. Once you do this enough times you have to repair it. Second death occurred when the screen mysteriously stopped working for two days, and fixed itself. Third death occurred when I got water in the port. I threw it at the sun and it worked. Now the final death has occurred. The charge port finally got worn to death from old age, the audio port is permanently activated which means I can't hear sound out of the main speaker unless it's permanently activated, the screen is starting to chip, the sim card occasionally decides to stop working, all the glue meant to keep it water proof is eroded badly, wifi barely connects, GPS is terribly inefficient, it overheats easily and has to constantly force stop apps and clear ram to keep from burning through my pocket and to top it off the charging could barely get pat 55%- so basically I treated it like driving a car in mnual. By all standards it has become impractical to repair.
Normally I wouldn't care, but all the new Sony phones are only being supported by carriers in Europe and Asia. In the USA you have to buy them full retail and can't get a warranty or any insurance, plus there's no guarantee the carrier will agree to service the device...
Darn it Sony, shut up and take my money already! It's terrible when a company ignores a willing consumer base. They can't treat us like this; they're treating us like we live in a former soviet satellite. Well, they shall receive a very strongly written message on this perceived slight.
Oh well, I guess I'll just get some generic over-engineered Samsung device that is impractically large and comical such that I will now be regulated to carrying it in a man purse like a 21st century dandy.
Don't mind me lads, I'm just impatiently waiting for Nova while life falls apart around me.
Sned halp pls

pffff that generation of phones was made to break down after a year, I'm shocked it lasted 4 full years.
I have a Sony Ericsson V630i, well, had. Though it still works, I now use a Huawei P8 Lite.
That Sony is now 11 years old, and works like brand new... I have over 100 games on it (not joking) and have played on it for A LOT of my time, the only real show of wear and tear is the charging port, you gotta fiddle around with the connector for about a minute to get it to charge. I once dropped it from 5 feet on a concrete floor in a workshop, and it only got a tiny little dent in the plastic casing, it stayed on and didn't fall apart. When I told the guys in school how old it was, they thought I was lying lol.
It was and still is the most durable mobile phone I've ever seen, beats Nokia 3310 by miles.

Alright, I got the S8+, my first impression is that it is slippery as a Caldari CEO trying to escape an audit. I feel like it's trying to whisper "drop me, please". Oh well, at least it being beveled means that it's totally Gallente. +1 for ushering in the Gallente era.

Maybe.
I have a pair of in-ear headphones for when I'm travelling, they don't seem to have different levels of sound though, they're well-balanced.
However, at home, on my gaming PC...and gaming headset...on which I have a volume slider...the volume can jump from one ear to the other when I move the slider, but it can be set to be balanced if I fiddle with the slider long enough. This happened with past, cheaper headsets I used aswell. I wonder why those sliders are so damn finicky...I just use the volume adjuster on the PC.
In case you wonder...my current headset is a Sharkoon RushCORE gaming headset. 3 years old now still running strong...the sound is amazing, and it was one of the cheapest cover-ear headphones I could find in the store. Sharkoon is good, once this one dies, I'm getting the more expensive version, though it doesn't seem these will be dying anytime soon haha.
They have leather cushions...they're starting to crack now...and they're all greasy from my hair...when I put them on a tissue or piece of paper on the desk, they leave stains...grease stains...disgusting, isn't it?

LOL I don't shower... ever. I take baths every 1 or 2 weeks, depending on how dirty I get, though that has nothing to do with my hair. I'm the type with very oily hair, it gets oily in just one day after washing it... so I wash it every 1 or 2 days. If I don't don't wash it for 3 days, it starts falling out.

Naaaaah man, that won't work, there's so much hair oil IN the leather, I'd have to take the whole thing apart and twist it like a sponge... just wiping it doesn't do anything. Get a delicate brush and use it to wipe off any grime that's just attached to it. Then use a microfiber towel and moisten it slightly with water and use that to remove more grime. Get another microfiber towel, add cleaning solution that's safe for electronics/leather and use it to get rid of any stubborn oil. Then buff out the leather with leather safe solution and buff the plastic with plastic safe solution.

Use a balanced hp shampoo to clean your hair and don't scrub too hard. Using shampoo that's too basic (too strong) will cause your scalp to overproduce oil). Also avoid using water that's too hot or cold or else your scalp will become brittle and agitated which will make it even oilier.

jk I use a standard anti-dandruff shampoo in mild warm water (inbetween warm and cold), so, uh...I dunno.

But it says on the back, that it's mild enough for everyday use, and it recommends a minimum usage of twice a week. I use it every 2-3 days though, so that's within the recommended usage rate.
My hair gets oily overnight, I seem to sweat a bit during sleep, so that's what seems to cause it... meh.

I hear that showers are better than baths because the current removes more filth than just having the water around you. I don't know, though.
I feel your pain, though. I have a dandruff problem in dry season, and tend to get oily often, as well. Ever since I started using Head and Shoulders, problem has been kept in check. Recently, I started cutting back on that and just using Old Spice shampoo and I haven't had a problem yet.
