all i ever did was run unmodified starterfits.

in fact my fittings were filled with them.

that said. i could still easily pick my militia ar back up and beat people to death with it. after all it was basically my go to weapon for all situations. the only time i brought out standard gear was when i was getting serious about singlehandedly taking a crowded objective.

And here I was thinking you didn't have to worry about isk, that you were just sponsored by quafe!

But yeah, that whole going broke thing was quite useful... I remember working my way up to 100mil and holding steady despite spamming over priced vehicles, but then I quit for a few months, came back and just blew everything in a week (I was so bad.)

Then naturally having to build up cash again... It's funny how much you can improve when sticking to starter fits.


It's also really fun not having be weary at all...

Run Expensive gear - Sit back and pew pew until the team forms a meat shield you can follow in.

Run Adv gear - Safely pew pew a path before running in semi-rambo.

Run a starter fit - Whip your balls out and charge in like a maniac... You soon learn when it's safe to go in and better to fall back... Even though you never have to worry about falling back.
