If you signed up for the dreadnought beta back when it was announced, the game is now available to download if you were sent a code

Basically this is as close to Dust 514 as you're going to get for right now, if you need that fix
FFXIV also has an extended free trial now (unlimited time), which is good if you need an MMO/Tank/Healer fix

true. but the mechanics are quite similar logi/heavy/assualt/scout. no customisation of hp, speed etc though, which some may see as a good thing and some as a bad.

idk about you but I played Dust 514 for the racial classes, deployable battlefield, and long TTK (time to kill) team tactics
I have yet to find another FPS that even has that much. (Dead Star was even better but no one played it because it was a top down shooter)

I have been playing this since they gave me the key code 4/20 ... good pvp action for sure. Great ftp closed beta with potential to grow into more. Cant squad up yet ... it will be in a later patch. At least its something to kill the time till Nova. |

Just got my key for DN (PS4) yesterday. Needs quite a bit of polish, but thats what a Beta is for, and they have a solid framework in place. Currently working toward a Corvette. Can't wait for the ability to squad up. It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a squad to carry me through a match.
Playing FFXIV as well. I had just got my Botanist to 58, but DN has thrown a wrench in my FF to do list. |

Not sure if May 15th is just a wipe, or the end of CB, I'd imagine it will enter open beta if so. F2P, and while I agree there are many similarities to Dust, DN is so far a very entertaining game on its own. Devs are active on the forums and Discord, and the Dust roll call thread has seen quite a few hits.
Check it out.
Can I get Vahzz' stamp of approval?
Or at least a good insult? I miss the abuse. |
