I know it's weird, but I was totally turned off by this band with the single line, "I dig my toes into the sand." For whatever reason, I've always hated the beach, sand, and toes (especially when together). For me, it was like nails on a chalkboard. That single line became a symbol (for me) that represented every. single. annoyance. and source of anger that I had ever and will ever experience in life. As a result, I could never see the band past that terribly ridiculous judgment.
sigh.
The guitarist with that ginger fro didn't help. not at all. if anything, that was only fuel to the fire. I still pretty much hate their music. Then along came Hoobastank....

Don't remember if I ever told anyone, but I once saw a truck trailer (whatever it's called) for a landscaping company called Amarr.
Also... Incubus is the name of a demon from Greek mythology that rapes women in their sleep. I guess the band is just trying to be edgy and counterculture as they typically do. Apparently it's also a word for "a disturbance" or "something that causes distress" and that fits the ADS very well if you ask me.
