Your recording sound quality or your actually skill ?
To music production standards ? It's crap. Propably a phone mic.
To share to the untrained ear of noobs (aka family)? It's the greatest thing they've ever heard.
On your skill? You play very well, clear, articulated notes and fast progression.
I believe that is a bassoon, might be wrong been,4 years since playing various brass instruments in a school band.

On the sound quality, the mic is not fit for that kind of recording. You can hear a lot of "room". There are a couple ways you can improve the sound quality even if you don't have a good mic, but mind that the result won't be remotely comparable to specific mics built for specific instruments.
You can try a slight EQ pass, try give it more "air" or "loudness". You can do this by adding a bit of very high frequencies (just a little bit!). Perhaps you can even cut some low frequencies... it's hard for me to explain in words how to proceed, but you should be able to recognize a good "sound" playing around with an equalizer.
Then add a bit of compression. Traditional software compression basically takes the parts where there's too much gain and lowers them by a specified value. Just try not to exaggerate with compression or it will sound weird.
That said, I'm not really the guy who could give advice on skills. I can only play piano and know almost nothing about brass instruments :(. But as a prophane, I'd say you're pretty good!
