I have confidence in them that they will get the corporation thing right eventually. However I'm awfully concerned about being stuck in space. I really hope they let us put boots on ground. To be trapped in space I think would feel like being in jail

Who knows how things will go down but you can guarentee that there will be corps for the old dust players and the like.
I just hope for the early days (if there are new early days to come) that we set aside our differences and act constructive with the devs. Once its in a good place then we can go back to forum warrior shiptoasting 
IF there is a chance this game will see the light of day we have to do what we can to make it good.

Plot twist: Nova won't even support corps.
From what I've seen with Nova it looks super casual with no where near the depth that dust had. They been saying they want to make a good shooter first then add in other stuff. Which is very concerning to me. Might be just an arcade shooter for all I know.

We did that but most players would rather QQ so that's what happened with dust.. |

Maybe its just this tin foil hat but everyone seems to just expect Nova will be just like Dust but more and better. Not easy to think of it but perhaps we are all gravely mistaking...
I truest think this avenue is not explored a much as it should be. Everyone kind of walking around thinking "boy isn't Nova going to be awesome" some things are not always as they appear.
Yes, I agree with you. To me they have the cart before the horse. It needs to be EvE-like in every way, FIRST, and then build the shooter part into that. By starting off with the shooter part, they run the risk that they either can't or won't later add the EvE stuff. And the risk is very real - certain decisions made in the design stage can make later changes almost impossible. |
