I know but couldn't CCP easily store that info elsewhere off of the live EVE server? Just seems strange to me.  Maybe it's just not a big enough deal for them to clean up or it would be too hard to properly clean up where it may remain forever. IDK CCP doesn't directly tell me much of anything. For some reason, I am out of the loop. 
No they can't store the info offline. It has to be stored live to ensure that noone uses those names in any other CCP games. |
