"Planetarian - the reverie of a little planet"
Just watched a video series by this guy on this little visual novel (which also apparently has an anime) and oh boy, what an emotional novel, at the end, I cried, because it was so sad...and I'm sure you would too, unless you are literally made of steel.
If you want a good story filled with emotions, go for this, you won't regret it.

Tsukihime, Fate/Stay-Night, Muv-Luv Alternative are my recommendations.
Steins;Gate is amazing as well
Muv Luv in particular if you like the "Great Story that wrenches your heart out". Alternative is ******* *depressing* at some points with how hard it hits you.
