One of you may already know the answer to this already. If Dust or even Nova for that matter is more or less dead in the water, why does this forum still exist? Really miss this ******* game. I hate not knowing if anything will ever come of it. I don't want to be 60 yrs old and CCP finally say they got something rolling. |

I'd imagine it'll come down when EVE is switched to its new forum site (which people don't seem all that exited about).
The better question would be why is Sony still letting CCP access the Playstation Network to let us log in? |

While Dust is dead, Nova is not.
Nova is the reason this forum still exists, up to the point where they either cancel Nova, or create a new forum for it. That is my belief.

Meanwhile, I'm over here waiting for the GTX 1080 Ti to get back in stock because I procrastinated the moment it did 2 weeks ago. A $700 USD graphics card...

To be honest a GTX 950 is fine for just about any well-optimized game... Project CARS for example, I have the free Pagani Edition from Steam, medium to high graphics setting, mixed, 60 fps easy, and it looks great...
Euro Truck Simulator 2 on ultra, 60 FPS, (goes down in very busy town areas only)
World of Tanks on Ultra, with grass off because it obscures vision over ridgelines, 60 FPS, only drops on certain occasions, like when aiming at a tank near a bush at close range, probably due to bush LOD.
If you want the newer one, the 1050, it's nowhere near as expensive as that 1080 Ti monster, but if you want VR, sure, go for the max option.
EDIT: well if you have a 144hz monitor then I get your struggles lol

Nova is in development limbo. There are certain personnel that are passionate about creating a full game. At the same time CCP as a whole has been resisting green lighting it, yet simultaneously they don't want to outright put the kasbah on it just yet.
Put your flags up in the sky.
