So I found this neat little tutorial on youtube and it actually works great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBf8w1i8vyM
I'm sure some of you have been looking for something like this, but if you haven't...well that's fine too.
It's a bit of a faf to get through all the steps, takes some time, but once you get it running it works perfectly, at least for me.
If you're having trouble getting it running, just try to think about what might've gone wrong, for example; the video said you don't need to check the tickbox for bluetooth on the installation screen if you're using the cable, I didn't check it and the controller didn't work... then I checked it, and clicked on install again, so then it worked. (I was always using the cable)

Brilliant program. Think it's actually called motion in joy... and it calls home to China, I wouldn't trust it...
Also find SCP to be a lot simpler. Though I think both have the issue of treating the triggers as a single input. |

Though I think both have the issue of treating the triggers as a single input. Single input? If you mean they have no sensitivity, (0-100% instantly) all you have to do is go into your windows devices, and right-click on the "xbox controller" icon, select game controller settings, properties, and calibrate the sticks and triggers there, that'll fix it.

They are single input actually, but when binding the buttons in a game they should be recognized as two different buttons on one axis, going to + on one button and - on the other.
Ah sorry, meant single axis... They don't call me derp for nothin!
Can be annoying with certain games. |
